The Adopt An Employee Summer Paid Internship Program is one of PSCDG’s signature workforce development initiatives. This yearly 12-week summer program connects young adults with meaningful professional opportunities through structured workplace experiences focused on career exposure, mentorship, and workplace readiness.
The first two weeks of the program are dedicated to training and professional preparation, helping ensure participants are equipped with the skills, confidence, and expectations needed before entering their internship placements.
Through this initiative, PSCDG fully covers participant compensation, allowing employer partners to focus on mentorship, leadership, and providing a supportive professional environment. Our goal is to help remove barriers to employment while creating pathways to long-term career success for young adults within our community.
